Week 36 (2015) – No Bones Without It!

Health News (Week 36 – 2015)
By Robert Redfern

What is Osteoporosis? Osteoporosis is a critical condition whereby the bones in your body degenerate slowly over time and are subject to breakage, which can then lead to many complications later in life. It is mostly found in women, but men suffer from it too. I also mention a condition called Osteopenia in this newsletter.

Osteoporosis is a condition where going to your doctor for advice to get healthy bones is possibly the worst thing you can do. By all means go to a doctor or clinic to identify whether you have bone degeneration and the degree of degeneration. As with most diseases your doctor will simply offer the pharmaceutical offerings which includes drugs with serious side effects such as: Actonel, Boniva, Fosamax or Reclast (these may have different names around the world but they are the same and have the same potential serious side effects).

Your Pharma-led doctor will also tell you that brittle bones and age-related bone loss — or osteoporosis/osteopenia is a result of a loss of calcium or a shortage of calcium in the diet. I disagree with doctors that drugs will give you healthy bones and I disagree that you generally need more calcium in your diet…

It is evident that calcium deficiency is not the primary culprit in bone loss… so what causes it?

There are a number of factors:

    1. An Acidic/Inflammatory Diet – This includes dairy, starchy carbs and other high sugar and factory processed junk foods
    1. Infection – A low-level infection (usually caused by the diet above)
    1. Magnesium Deficiency. Magnesium is critical for absorption and reabsorption into bones
  1. Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 deficiency are also critical for healthy bones

Obviously the full spectrum of nutrients such as probiotics, minerals like iodine and selenium, vitamins such as Vitamin C and enzymes are also essential and some can even be taken as supplements.

The fact is that vitamins D3, K2, and in particular Magnesium, are the most important of all for your health but are especially critical for your bones.

Over 325 different body enzyme systems are dependent upon Magnesium in order to function properly. Enzymes help to rebuild bones. Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body, and may be even more important than calcium.

Magnesium and vitamins in proper balance are critical for calcium to properly absorb and reabsorb into the bone structure. Also taking the wrong type of calcium can lead to long-term health problems like calcification of the kidneys, artery walls, gall bladder, muscles, breasts and other soft tissues. This can lead to chronic disease.

Warning:

There is no evidence of safely elevating levels of magnesium in the body by taking capsules or powders.

How can I get Magnesium?

The very best source of all nutrients is of course organic freshly harvested foods (or frozen within hours). The problem is sourcing such foods. The even greater problem is these minerals are rapidly disappearing from foods and there has also been a magnesium reduction of up to 80% in the diet.

Since vegetables are the prime source of any remaining dietary magnesium, unless you eat the 8-12 portions per day I recommend, then you will be even more deficient in this critical mineral.

The very best source of magnesium is the one I use and get such good results with – Magnesium Oil with OptiMSM for the very best absorption. To fully understand how critical magnesium is for your health, I have created an eBook to help you.

Osteoporosis Concerns?

By following the Osteoporosis/Osteopenia plan from my book this will result in better calcium absorption, stronger bones …and much more.

Food and simple lifestyle changes will help prevent osteoporosis.

The studies are absolutely clear on this. Your doctor may understand if you cite your case and references, but might not beg you to make these changes. I will because I am 100% sure your life will be better with these changes:

Stop all bread, pasties, cookies, breakfast cereals and grains, rice, potatoes, parsnips and wheat pasta.

Why? They contain things that are dangerously detrimental to your health. Yes, even organic grains and cereals!

Stop all processed beverages such as cola, fruit juices and excess alcoholic drinks.

Why? They are high in sugars and chemical alternatives to sugars.

Add lots of green vegetables in smoothies, soups, and salads.

Why? Because they stimulate growth factors that reverse ageing and keep you looking and feeling younger. Try a 60 day Green Smoothie Diet and look in the mirror if you want to prove it to yourself…

Add lots of dark skinned fruits such as avocados, blueberries, raspberries and other berries, etc.

Why? These are naturally full of antioxidants to protect your arteries and brain from damage.

Add lots of exercise and movement and stop sitting down for more than 3 hours per day.

Why? Studies are absolutely clear that sitting down for more than 3 hours per day is devastating for your future health. Walking for a couple of hours per day, rebounding on a mini trampoline and simple stretching and muscle exercises will prevent disease and keep you strong.

Add Water.

Why? Drinking 6-8 glasses of water over the day before 6pm will help keep you healthy and lower your blood pressure when combined with the above.

Add Salt: Take unprocessed rock salt or sea salt daily.

Why? To maintain some of the missing minerals from the diet.

Add To Your Life Purpose:

Keep working or do voluntary work but make sure you do something of value both to yourself and society. This will keep you younger. I feel like a 40 year old!

Take The Critical Minerals Missing From The Dietary Supplements:

Whatever your budget you can’t risk not taking something and ending up with a disease that will devastate your life. Whether it is one or two things: such as Magnesium, Iodine, Selenium, Active Life or the 15 things my wife and I take daily, they are infinitely better than the diseases stealing the future of the majority.

Don’t Wait a Minute Longer.

Whether you are aged 19 or 90, following the above plan can help you to avoid an unhealthy future.
