Inflammation is the body’s response to injury or infection. It is a self-protective mechanism that occurs as the body’s way of protecting and healing itself. Symptoms can vary depending on the condition and whether it’s acute (such as a cut on the finger) or chronic – as in cases of arthritis.
Here are some of the best ways to fight inflammation in the body and achieve natural relief…
1. Eat Alkaline Life Giving Foods
Reducing inflammation begins with eating a really healthy foods diet. This includes eating foods that are rich in fiber, antioxidants, nutrients and phytochemicals for regulating and supporting the immune system.
Foods that promote good health include green leafy vegetables, dark skinned fruits like berries, avocados, nuts, seeds and legumes. Nuts contain an antioxidant called Oleocanthol that has been shown to reduce inflammation. They also contain Resveratrol that can reduce inflammation in the body.
Blueberries are an excellent source of anthocyanins, phenolic acid and bioactive compounds. All of these have many anti-inflammatory benefits. Fatty fish is a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids, known for their anti-inflammatory power.
2. Take Serrapeptase
If you have any kind of inflammation in your body, taking Serrapeptase can provide fast and effective relief. Known as the SerraEnzyme; as a proteolytic enzyme, Serrapeptase has the power to safely dissolve and digest dead scar tissue and inflammation within the body.
By allowing for its elimination via the liver and kidneys, Serrapeptase is an effective solution. Especially for anyone suffering with chronic pain and other serious health conditions.
People with chronic pain, lung problems, heart health, cardiovascular issues and joint problems can all benefit from taking the enzyme. Once the inflammation is removed, the body is then capable of naturally healing itself.
3. Take Your Probiotics
Taking a good probiotic can maintain the healthy gut bacteria in your digestive tract. By supporting digestive health and promoting good gut flora, it’s possible to improve gut health and reduce inflammation in the process. Taking a daily probiotic supplement is therefore highly recommended. This helps relieve inflammation and find natural relief.
4. Move Regularly
Daily exercise is excellent for reducing inflammation in the body. Any form of cardiovascular activity that raises your heart rate can help to benefit your health. One study followed 4,000 middle aged people over a 10 year period and found that those exercising for 2 and a half hours per week, managed to lower their inflammation by 12 per cent.
Good exercise activities can improve your health. Consider going for a walk, cycling, running or incorporating resistance exercises such as squats and weights into your routine. All of these activities are relatively cheap and easy to do. Getting outside into nature is also free and highly recommended for best health.
5. Get Enough Sleep
Sleep is where your body begins to heal itself. Poor quality sleep has been linked with inflammation. For best health, aim to sleep between 7-9 hours each night.
During deep sleep, blood pressure drops. Your breathing slows down and blood flow to tissues and muscles is repaired. Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is secreted at this stage as well. HGH can kickstart the body’s healing process and ultimately, may help you to live longer.
For a best night’s sleep, avoid stimulants such as caffeine before bed. Removing distractions such as TV and mobile phones can be helpful. Meanwhile going to bed and waking up at the same time can create a regular sleep routine. All of this makes your waking hours more relaxing.

I have a benign lesion in my colon which has to be removed. Years ago I had ulcerative colitis and was left with scarring in my colon. I do not have UC now as it was healed through diet and herbs however I am obviously prone to polyps and lesions due to the scarring left. Any advice on supplements to help with this condition would be greatly appreciated. I also have no thyroid and 2 false hips, apart from that am fighting fit!!
Can I give Prescipt Biotics to a dog?
Hello Fiona, yes Prescript Biotics is safe to give to a dog. We recommend 1 capsule daily.
Hello Carolann, we would suggest to start on the Serranol to help clear the inflammation and scarring, and to support good digestion with the Prescript Biotics and Essential Digestive Plus. To aid healing it is also beneficial to include a good multi such as the Active Life Capsules and Pure Organic Trace Minerals.
